Bronze Compensation Plan Explained

You will earn $5/mo. for each direct sale, plus $5/mo. on a 1-up powerline comp plan, passing up your 3rd $5 commission, plus you earn on $5 per month on each of your 2nd and 3rd level sales below you.

On your first 2 sales, YOU keep the powerline commissions, so you make $10 per month, per sale. Your third sale you earn $5 per month, since you must pass up the powerline commission (you earn only from the 1-tier structure on this sale), which pays you $5 per month. Having qualified, you will now earn $10 per sale, per month, on all future sales on your 1st level.
