Huge Free Traffic from Forums Postings?

Hello everyone,

I am just curious how much and what kind of traffic do you get from forum postings and of course from your signature file.

It is said that forum postings are very efficient free marketing tools. If you are posting in specific, niche forums you get quality, targeted traffic.

Do you agree? What are your experiences in this matter?

Hi Izabella,

I have been able to generate a steady flow of traffic from forum signature postings. It really depends on what your link says, and what it is you're actually trying to promote. Blatant advertising is never particularly effective. The link in my signature here is just my way of giving something back to the forum members (it's a free online income course).

This then enables me to build a relationship with the people who sign up the course - we all end up exchanging ideas and it's a much better way to work than working on your own.

To get targeted traffic, you just need to be posting in the right kind of forums, and have the right kind of tagline and product in your link.

My link is on the front page of google and all I've done was posted on forums.

Also, may have to be to the fact that the program is brand new and not much marketing is going into it yet.

But it sure is nice seeing your website on the first page!

i get some visits plus you get some pr from forum posting that accept link signeture on forums.

Your link is on the front page of google? Wow! That is absolutely great; and you achieved that with forum postings!

It means that you have posted on specific niche forums and using the right key words in your posts or in your signature files!

Well, forum posting can be great for increasing traffic to the websites because people are reading each other's posts and points on the boards and so will they see the links displayed.

Forum posting can be a great way to increase traffic &, if you post in the right niche, that traffic will be targeted & high quality.

I never really realized how much traffic forums bring to my sites until I looked at some of my site statistics after about a month of consistent daily posting. I'd say about a third of my traffic comes from posting to 6 different forums a couple of times a day.

Forums are great places to generate traffic. Most forums
allows you to advertise - but some only allows you to use
signature files. Anyway, your signature file will generate
traffic to your site. You will get a steady flow of signups
to your program as long as you create a signature file
that will grab their attention.
