    In terms of Benchmarks and quality, Intel surpasses amd... and since your willing to spend that much just on a motherboard and cpu, I'd go with intel.

    Both companies have created some amazing and some unsuccessful products and both have followers among the techies. Intel (Integrated Electronics Corporation) is the world's largest CPU manufacturer while AMD is the second largest supplier of x86 architecture CPUs :)

    I think you should go with intel. Because their products are proven ones and many people use their product. So you can rely on their product.

    Building a new PC is all ways a mindset that what do you want from your PC.Intel & AMD both are best Machines to there field.If you want to Build a gaming PC I prefer AMD is the best from Intel all ways because i also use AMD Machines i love to playing games.if you want a working field PC then Intel is good for you.

    I did not shy away from AMD when I was purchasing my notebook, thou I would buy an Intel from now on. Intel's issue with the Sandy Bridge chip did give me some concerns thou.
