Week began with the pound 13 percent drop against the dollar and 8 percentagainst the euro . The pound is now rising against the dollar and the euro, erasing earlier declines.

Yen has declined against the euro.It has dropped most against the NZ and Aud . Japan , second largest economy in the world as entered its first recession since 2001. The euro has risen versus the dollar.
Equities are being seen as the strength which is leading to an increase in risk appetite and playing negatively for the yen, according to analysts. as such also Euro-yen is considered a traditional bellwether of risk sentiment.

Indonesia's rupiah is seeing a seven-year low and slowest economic growth in six quarters. The currency was Asia's worst performer today versus the dollar
