that's right... Many forex traders have significant experience trading in other markets, and their technical and fundamental analysis is often quite good. In fact, many forex traders lose money :)
But, I am sure if we are discipline, Cut Your Losses Early, Let Your Profits Run, we can make profit in forex trading.

You can start with little as $ 100 thanks to forex margin leverage. However it is not recommended you start with such a small amount to have more breathing space in you trading account. You can open a micro account with $ 1000, for a mini you need at least $ 10,000 and for any amount higher than $ 25000 you can open a standard account. However before opening a live real micro account you have to learn the basics of forex and how to analyse movements in currency prices by using technical with fundamental analysis in a demo(virtual money) account. It takes time. Only when you feel you are ready can you open a micro account. And from there if you are consistently profitable you can jump into a mini account. In think big capital is not important of forex, here you can start with $100 and gain more capital. In forex market, I think Knowledge, experience and Self-confident are important factor because experience person gain with confident and earn more money.

Actually it depends on your choosing broker. For me when I was involve in forex-metal that time i just invest $200. That's is why first contact withy your broker.

Before going to real account it is necessary that every trader should have proper skills of trading. In Forex the more you invest your money the more profit can be earned from Forex although it is profitable too but risky also.

With a capital of $ 100, we are quite comfortable for trading in forex, but we must remain cautious, stay disciplined with money managament rule and that we had. I myself even start trading with just $ 35 in InstaForex, the capital I get from forum posting them.
