Why do people do PTC when other sites, like GPT sites, pay so much better?

Why??? because most of that websites are for US and Canada residents

Good question, I always wondered why too, PTC only can get tedious but I think it's all about the referrals.

You make a good point Insideout. There are other types of sites where you can make much more money for the time you put in.

I finally got to cash out on one of my PTC sites, still a few dollars shy on another one, I'll probably dump one of these and just keep the one, I won't try a referral campaign because its not worth it especially having a minimum $30 to cash out, GPT sites are better in getting referrals.

I asked that question myself for about 7 years as I avoided them like the plaque. About 13 months ago, I started looking into them realized I was right, you can't earn alot with them --well--most people can't.

I decided to use a few of them as a lead-in for an residual affiliate program (where the real money is) so that people wouldn't have to pay anything out-of-pocket. I have learned these sites are quite profitable for a lot of people from countries other than the U.S. $20, $30, $40 bucks a month doesn't even get you a tank of gas these days in the U.S. but it definitely goes a loooong way in other countries.

I'm part of a PTC website. I have to admit, it's not worth it, but it only takes me a few minutes a day. It adds up. I usually just click the links when I get paid e-mails cause they pay more.

I spend a LOT more time on GPT programs though. ^_^

well from my own side of the story the major reason is that it is one of the surest way by which one can satrt to understand the concept of making money on line

Because one main reason; it's free! It's great for us new people into the whole network marketing business. Especially when you don't have a creditcard and can't pay anything to join a site cause you don't have any money on your paypal/alertpay.

I'm a member of PTC and about to cashout almost $17 which is OK, but the main thing is that I can now buy myself into other sites that requires payment.

And also, those surveysprogram are usually only for US-Citizens so.. :P
