what kind of security measures should be taken to keep my windows security tight so that no one can breach my PC?Which softwares,firewalls should be used?What you use to keep your pc safe?I use a proxy server with a static IP..is it safe as compared to dynamic IP?

The IP doesn't really matter.

You can have good antivirus software (updated definitions) and firewall installed/configured to run the right way. Do not run unknown software or visit unknown url from strangers or even websites.

Make sure your OS is patched up-to-date as well.
