Default Pluggy, what linux OS you recommend for a beginner ?

Because of security reasons, I want to try out a linux OS.
I don't have a Mac so let's stay with the PC options.
I read you like www.puppyos.com , is this a good choice for a beginner, ease of installation,user friendly,etc....
Can you run applications like Metatrader on it ? If not , what would make

ROFLMAO.

1) You are not posting on TalkGold forum so Pluggy isn't actually here

2) If you want to try Linux, I would suggest you try Ubuntu instead of Puppy.

3) You can run Metatrader 4 on Linux, but it requires a little fiddling about in the command line and it doesn't work 100% so I don't recommend it for live accounts.

I think you better try LiveCD(knoppix, ubuntu), after that don't use Ubuntu.... Why? Because it is not safe, I recommend you SUSE, Mandrake linux... Or GNU linux if you like open source:)
