Default Ways to Improve PC security

Dear friends,
Here are some guides decreasing risks of getting hacked or infected.

1- Update your operating system.
2- Always use a powerful Firewall.
3- Always use a powerful Anti Virus.
4- Never open attachments from e-mails you do not know who sent it.
Usually these files are .scr .exe .zip .rar or some other malicious attachments.
Try to forward the email to Yahoo or Gmail and scan it with their AV.
5- Never open not known links sent in instant messages.
6- Be careful of phishing sites and fraudulent emails asking to login.
7- Always scan new discs / cooldisks / usb storage devices.
8- Disable your CD/DVD drive's auto run feature.
9- Do not login from shared computers
10- use secure passwords. 123123 is not a safe password.
