Hello Everyone!

Does anyone know what criteria Google uses to rank the Google Local results? Sometimes, it seems like the physical location is a big part of it, but sometimes it seems like location is not the most important factor.

If you are search for "realtor new york city", how does Google decide which one should go first, given the city is huge?

Do a Google search for Google Local Business Center Tutorial this should work.

That's really not true. You can get very good insights from reading patent applications. Anyway, the question was about Google's LBC and it has its own algorithm.

The Google's local rankings are based on the local and country specific results and many webmasters are focusing on generating sales based on the traffic gained from their local Google listings.
