You can also use many directories to build one way links to your main website. You do need to host a second domain to place your link on to the directory. Where it says your reciprocal link just add the webpage on your second domain where that directories link is located. Many directory programs (scripts) will accept this.

Free one way links. One way deep linking allowed.

Yeap good information added it ready to my favorites, that seo submitter a bit freaky ask for a lot of money so I stay with the free ones and take the work to submit one by one.

I believe that having your website submitted to directories DO helps in your off page SEO. But you have to very selective when it comes to directories. I prefer DMOZ and Yahoo! directory. And they can be very troublesome at times. This is because, Google does not like automated submission and manual submission can take months! :(
