Both are processors, both having speed ratings, and both have different power consumption with different models of processors… they are both good…

I’ve had Intel all my life, and the one AMD I had, had an overheating problem. Which was stupid because it would randomly shutdown?

Intel has more money for R&D and more money to invest in technology. However, I believe once AMD gets taken over by a big name tech company, they will be much more competitive.

    Long AMD.

AMD and Intel have released new chipsets in a bid for dominance in the value PC marketplace. AMD's goal was to compete with Intel's G41 chipset. But in this ever changing game of leap frog, Intel quickly came back with the introduction of the P55 chipset.

Depends on which one you like to use. If you look at pros and cons, AMD is better processor but heats up bad. Intel is slightly low but maintains good heat. I am an INTEL fan , so its always easy for me to decide !
