    I guess it all depends, In my country for instance,the most famous ones are "Odnoklassniki" and "kontact", but at work we often use Skype

    i have been using Gtalk since very long and to be frank it is one of the best chat program.

    I think MSN is the most popular. I use MSN and AIM.

    Most of my friends use Skype, I hate it though because it's basically phone and video online. If I want to talk to someone like that, I'll call them. I still use AIM believe it or not, I've been using it since I was back in high school and won't quit anytime soon

    Well i prefer skype,i like it because it's voice chat is much faster and most efficient.

    I believe it is Skype, though I use AIM. I do like Skype. I prefer to call up my friends and talk to them than connect via phone and video.

    My favorite chat program is Gtalk because it's very convenient, well-designed and simple for the newbies!
