Right click the "My Computer" Icon on the desktop and select properties. cLICK ON THE "Advanced" tab. There should be categories in this tab, *Performance, *User profiles and * Start Up and Recovery. In *Performance section, click settings then *advanced tab* again. Down the bottom of the window an option says*Virtual Memory*click change, and select the custom radio button. Enter a value (desired) in the initial and maximum sections, then click SET. hope this is what you were after

Virtual Memory tools can separate the memory addresses used by a process from actual physical addresses. It increases the amount of RAM used for disk swapping.
