Right click the "My Computer" Icon on the desktop and select properties. cLICK ON THE "Advanced" tab. There should be categories in this tab, *Performance, *User profiles and * Start Up and Recovery. In *Performance section, click settings then *advanced tab* again. Down the bottom of the window an option says*Virtual Memory*click change, and select the custom radio button. Enter a value (desired) in the initial and maximum sections, then click SET. hope this is what you were after

Virtual Memory tools can separate the memory addresses used by a process from actual physical addresses. It increases the amount of RAM used for disk swapping.

If you want to increase virtual memory, just right click on my computer icon go to properties then to advance and then to performance, and again in advance and there you can increase paging file, which is nothing but hard-disk space used as primary memory....
